The B-17 Alliance Crew Members donate thousands of hours annually. These incredible volunteers dedicate time, talent and support to this restoration at many levels. 

Without volunteers, B-17 Alliance would not exist.

Volunteer support makes all the difference. Nearly 100 volunteers are engaged actively with B-17 Alliance.  Others are on the sidelines ready to help when they are available.

The Volunteer Appreciation BBQ is an annual event and it is a favorite of many. It’s a fun time to gather, learn more about what we do, help you connect, and reward our Crew Members who have made many accomplishments over the past year. (Download the invitation.)

There are many ways to help. This is a broad organization with tasks varying from Restoration of the Aircraft, Library work, Tour Guides, Marketing help, Event Planning, Educational outreach, Veterans Ambassadors and much more. 

Our crew members have designed an onboarding process to engage people who show an interest. If you are interested, we are always looking for people who want to make a difference in the community. 

This is a flight restoration and requires certification to work on the aircraft. This remarkable team has created a means to train new volunteers to work on this rare aircraft.  B-17 Alliance strives for excellence in all things. YOU can be a part of our team.   

The Lacey Lady is the centerpiece for a growing World War II Education Center.
